Identify the optimal location for your solar projects and speed up your pipeline with Glint Ground 2.0
Updated 2023
As the demand for solar energy continues to grow, developers are under pressure to secure the best solar projects. However, finding the optimal location for a solar installation can be a daunting task, with numerous projects to manage and factors to consider. But what if there was a tool that could simplify the process and make it more efficient?
Introducing Glint Ground 2.0 – the innovative software solution for solar developers. Our latest software update is specifically designed to enhance the accuracy and speed of solar site identification and analysis, making it easier for you to identify the best location for your solar projects. With Glint Ground 2.0, you can streamline your solar site selection process and make data-driven decisions that will optimize your solar projects.
Excited to try out the new features in Glint Solar's latest software? Let us help you get started!
Our new software feature is designed to improve the accuracy of your solar energy production analysis. With comprehensive data easily accessible, you can accurately evaluate the potential for solar energy in a specific location. This allows you to make informed decisions and optimize your solar projects for maximum efficiency and impact.
With Glint Ground 2.0, we've introduced a new categorization system for objects that eliminates non-constructible areas from your analysis. By classifying objects as Include, Exclude, or Other, you can gain a more accurate visualization of the site and tailor your analysis to your specific requirements, providing a deeper understanding of the site's potential.
A major enhancement of the object categorization system in Glint Ground 2.0 is the ability to create exclusion zones in your PV site analysis. This feature allows you to pinpoint and exclude objects that could compromise the potential of your solar project, such as trees or buildings. By removing these objects from your analysis, you can gain a more precise evaluation of the site's potential.
We’ve simplified the management of data layers so you can focus on more important tasks, like sharing dad jokes and memes with your colleagues. With our software update, you can easily import custom data layers, and organize all your layers in one accessible library. Additionally, you can now copy the geometry of any data layer to a project with just a single click.
Glint Ground 2.0's intuitive import and export functionality allows for seamless collaboration and sharing of your projects. By importing important GIS data like parcel boundaries, land use classifications and additional grid information, you can easily access and organize all your projects in one place. Furthermore with the ability to export your projects, it's simple to share your work with colleagues or external stakeholders. This feature is ideal for solar developers who handle a higher number of projects and require smooth data transfer.
Easily keep track of your projects and analyses using the software's dedicated tabs for "Projects" and "Analyses". View all your previous work in an organized and user-friendly manner, making it simple to revisit and stay on top of your projects. You can now also add labels to your projects and sort them for a better portfolio overview, making it even easier to find and organize your projects.
These updates aim to optimize the solar site identification and analysis process, allowing you to work more efficiently and effectively. Curious about what the latest version of Glint Solar's software can do for you?
